Phase One: shoring up for reaching out.
Dearborn First UMC renovations are Phase One of a multi-year plan.
The objective: to update and enhance our facilities, making our spaces fully fit for ministry for years to come.
The mission of our church is to connect with God, care for each other, and serve the world. Our ability to do so will be greatly improved by the enhanced spaces around us, creating even more opportunity to be God’s hands and feet in the world, sharing his love and mercy with others.

Getting Fit for Ministry means we can…
…CONNECT WITH GOD
New spaces will better accommodate Bible Studies, Sunday school for all ages, and rehearsal space for our musical groups, helping us each to grow in our faith and connect more personally with God.
…CARE FOR EACH OTHER
A secure nursery, An ADA-accessible unisex restroom, a kitchenette, a water bottle station for health and safety - some of the ways we show hospitality, inclusivity and caring for all who take part in the life of our church.
…SERVE THE WORLD
A new Toy Library, monthly JFON clinics, and community outreach that awaits, can all be supported by our expansive new multi-purpose room, outfitted with modular walls for creating smaller spaces when needed.

Dearborn First UMC Celebrates EVERY Generous Act of Giving!
On Sunday, February 7th, pledges of support were collected, dedicated, and celebrated during the livestream worship service.
But there’s still time to give! Please consider an amount that you can give over the course of 2021.
