“Sacred Wounds”

Small Group Discussion for those seeking healing from spiritual trauma

3-week study w/Pastor Suzy
STARTS FEBRUARY 15
7 P.M. | DFUMC Parlor

Are you feeling lost, hurt or confused due to religious or spiritual trauma? Do you know somebody who is?

Join Pastor Suzy through this compassionate roadmap to healing. Topics addressed include the specific symptoms of trauma and current approaches to treatment. Also discussed: ways that the church has created trauma through promotion of complementary theology, patriarchy, anti-LGBTQIA rhetoric, and Christian Nationalism, as well as harm caused by protection of child abusers among leadership. Lastly, participants will examine ways that the church can make reparations and reconciliation for the harm it has done.
