Rome wasn’t built in a day - and neither was the Christian Church! This ongoing small group study will follow its evolution from the days of Jesus to present day.

The study based on this informative book runs through the end of May, resuming again in September and running through December.

In this eye-opening book, Richard Rothstein presents historical research exposing the policies, laws, and decisions passed by municipal, state and local governments that contributed to and promoted discrimination patterns still in existence today.

March 10 - “Church Unique: How Missional Leaders Cast Vision, Capture Culture, and Create Movement” by Will Mancini. This book focuses on how to create a church around the gifts that are present in your congregation - uniquely ours, because God made us unique.

April 28 - “Preaching as Resistance: Voices of Hope, Justice, and Solidarity” by Phil Snider for people interested in leading social justice activities

May 28 - “Anatomy of a Revived Church” by Thom Rainier for those interested in church leadership.

On June 11 - “The Comeback Effect: How Hospitality Can Compel Your Church’s Guests to Return” by Jason Young and Jonathan Malm for people interested in hospitality leadership.

To offer a variety of meeting times and perspectives, Pastor Suzy seeks outgoing, welcoming people to lead small group discussions, either in-person or online, weekdays and/or evenings.
