Providing children’s ministry programming throughout the year with emphasis on connecting, caring, and serving our congregation and community both locally and globally.
With the return of gathered, indoor worship, children’s nursery and Sunday school activities have resumed for kids birth through 5th grade. Children attending Sunday school or nursery should check in at the exterior nursery door (in the courtyard off the parking lot) before 10 a.m.
All children aged 2 and older are required to wear masks. Temperature checks will be taken upon arrival.
Dearborn First UMC’s Trunk or Treat was Howling Good Fun!
More than 500 kids and kids-at-heart braved the rain and chilly temperatures to take part in some Family-friendly Halloween fun! Princesses, Super Heroes, Ninjas, Dinosaurs, Snack foods, Monsters and more showed up in their Halloween best. Some of our activities were converted into take-home versions, but kids still enjoyed the SLIME ZONE and cider and donuts from Cafe Arbol!
THANKS TO ALL who came out - the planners and volunteers - the youngsters and the trunksters alike - all had a great time. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
